The studio utilizes the MakeMusic platform to engage and motivate students at all levels. Exciting new group musical exploration classes will be starting in December! The Studio is a welcoming haven where music becomes accessible to everyone. I believe that every person, regardless of age, experience, or ability, has a unique musical voice waiting to be discovered and nurtured.
No two students learn the same way. I design lessons that adapt to learning styles, physical abilities, schedule restraints, and personal goals.
I offer a more personalized approach than the strip mall music studios.
Every student who enters the studio will be respected, encouraged, and challenged in ways that honor their individual journey. I promise patience, flexibility, and an unwavering belief in your child's potential.
Services
The Studio offers a modern, flexible approach to music education, providing in-person and online lessons in the event of illness and quarterly recitals in a friendly environment. I utilize cutting-edge music technology (makemusic.com) to enhance the learning experience and provide a motivating avenue for practice and success. This software has interactive recording software for tracking progress, play-along tracks, and video resources for practice between lessons.

Dr. Murray brings over 30 years of dedicated teaching experience to students of all ages and skill levels. With a Doctorate in Music, Dr. Murray combines advanced musical expertise with a genuine passion for nurturing each student's unique potential.
Known for a patient and adaptable teaching approach, Dr. Murray creates a welcoming environment where beginners feel encouraged and advanced students are challenged to grow.
Dr. Murray's flexible teaching philosophy emphasizes building solid technical foundations while keeping lessons engaging and relevant to each student's musical interests. The result is a studio where students not only develop their skills but also discovery a lasting love for music.
Upcoming Music Exploration Classes
Spark your child's love of music through play, discovery, and imagination! Designed for young learners (5-7) who are ready to dive into the wonderful world of sound. Perfect for homeschoolers!
In this fun, interactive group setting, children will explore music through singing, rhythm games, and hands-on piano experience. This class prepares little ones for entry into piano lessons at age 7, provides a collaborative and encouraging learning environment, and ensures that every child feels successful. No prior musical experience is necessary.
A small group of 5 ensures individual attention and plenty of opportunities to participate. Parents are welcome to observe and celebrate their child's musical discoveries.
These classes are Monday through Friday and in the morning hours.
Studio Technology
The Studio utilizes MakeMusic technology, which not only enhances the learning experience but also provides motivation and success tracking. This innovative program also allows students to explore the compositional aspect of music if they are interested.
Additionally, MakeMusic offers play-along tracks, printable sheet music, practice tracking, and the option to learn Pop and Rock tunes!
Additionally, this technology allows parents to receive weekly or monthly emails about their child's progress.

Monthly Plan/1 Hour Lessons
Secures your chosen day/time. Includes four 1-hour lessons per month. $280 per month.
MOST POPULAR: Monthly Plan/30 Minute Lessons
Secures your chosen day/time. Includes four 30 Minute Lessons per month. $150 per Month.
